Inazio Urruzola Txakolina is a family owned winery (bodega) and restaurant in Basque Country near the town of Alkiza.

The Inazio Urruzola txakoli has a unique character, the result of collective work where history, craftsmanship and techniques are combined more advanced, thus achieving an author’s, genuine and unique product.  

Due to its quality and essence, Inazio Urruzola has achieved a presence within the most famous places in the Basque Country worldwide, appearing on the wine lists of the Arzak restaurant (3 Michelin stars), the Basque Culinary Center and the Café Frontón (1 star). Michelin)

Txakoli (pronounced [tʃakoˈli]) or chacolí (pronounced [tʃakoˈli]) is a slightly sparkling, very dry white wine with high acidity and low alcohol content produced in the Spanish provinces of the Basque CountryCantabria and northern Burgos

The experience is wonderful. We were able to walk the vineyard, explore the old building of the winery, learn how much care is put into the making of their txakoli and taste delicious food and txakoli in their new restaurant.
